The Jam의 가사를 대부분 쓰고 있는 Paul Weller는 빌리브랙과 노동당을 지지하는 아티스트 단체인 Red Wadge를 만들어 대처리즘에 저항하기도 했습니다.(사회주의와는 전혀 관계 없고..)
아무튼 이 사람.. The Jam으로 데뷔하면서 보수당을 지지하는 이미지 메이킹으로 재미 좀 봤었는데 후에 노동당 지지로 돌아서면서 자신의 잘못을 인정했습니다. Sex Pistols가 아나키즘, 클래쉬가 좌익성향인 것에 대해 차별화되는 전략이 필요했던 매니지먼트의 아이디어였다고..
